The Canyon Flyer is one of the most extreme adventure attractions on the Gold Coast, and is Australia's largest guided zipline canopy tour of up to 10 adventurers with two awesome guides. The tour consists of seven huge ziplines that fly over Cedar Creek Canyon multiple times. As you cross Cedar Creek Gorge you get more than 60 metres high and get up to speeds as fast as 70 kilometres per hour! The zipline tour takes about three hours and also has a great 4WD experience as they take you from their reception to the start of your adventure. The Canyon Flyer is all about thrills, action, extreme adventure and getting the adrenaline pumping! Unlike their Adventure Park, there are no hard elements to go through, just insane ziplines all the way. This means its a great experience for all fitness levels and an adventure of a lifetime!

At the TreeTop Challenge you will have the ultimate adventure experience as you undertake over 100 TreeTop challenges spread over six massive courses, spanning through 10 acres of unspoilt natural bushland combining rope and wire challenges. You will hang about in the trees, balance on the suspended bridges, tackle our massive Tarzan swings and jump on 12 amazing ziplines with some spanning over 130 metres - it's great fun, extremely safe and appeals to the dare devil in everyone! At the TreeTop Challenge we have no time limit for your adventure! You are welcome to spend as much or as little time with us, where you can easily spend half a day in the tree's and the rest enjoying refreshments on our deck overlooking amazing rainforest. All safety equipment is supplied and participants are fully instructed on its usage before beginning. Qualified supervisors guide adventurers to ensure a fun adventure filled day. All you need to bring are closed in shoes and a dare devil attitude! We are open seven days and cater for everyone from the age of seven and up.

Tamborine Mountain Distillery

Tamborine Mountain Distillery, Australia's most awarded distillery (more than 300 international awards) and liquor brand in the new millennium, is hidden away in the Gold Coast hinterland . With rich red volcanic soil and fresh spring water, the abundant fruit of the mountain is fermented and distilled. Family owned and operated, this boutique distillery manufactures fine liqueurs, schnapps, vodka, eaux de vie and liqueur chocolates. Michael and Alla Ward’s Distillery has been opened only a short time (July 1998), yet they have already established a very enviable reputation largely developed by word of mouth, with tasting room visitors from not only all Australian states but America, Europe and Asia as well. Entry is through 5 metre tall black and gold wrought iron gates passing a beautiful waterfall. You wend your way down the palm studded drive through tropical gardens which eventually bring you to a little English Tudor style courtyard. In the middle of the courtyard a stone pond features a water fountain of life size bronze nymphs playing musical instruments and you will find our tasting room just beyond. The tasting room is an Aladdin's cave with an eclectic mix of handmade crafts from around the world.

Cedar Creek Estate Vineyard and Winery

From the moment you enter the driveway you will appreciate that Cedar Creek Estate Vineyard and Winery is one of the Gold Coast Hinterlands most charming wineries. Bring your camera and take in the wonderful scenery, as well as enjoying the taste of some of Queensland's finest wines. The vineyard consists of two varieties including Chambourcin and Verdelho, and even though the vines are relatively young, their Chambourcin in particular, is producing a fabulous Rose. Their other varieties of wines and grapes are sourced from some of Queensland's top vineyards, which provides the winemaker with a wonderful resource when developing their wines. The winery also has a restaurant which adjoins the Gazebo and Deck overlooking Wild Duck Lake. The Lake is a 15 mega-litre sanctuary for the native wildlife in the area. The reaches of Cedar Creek, which flows through the property, are also home to a number of platypus. The property is quickly developing into a popular tourist attraction with the addition of the Prime Ministers Way, which is a short stroll through rainforest which leads to the Glow-worm Caves. The caves consist of two main cave structures linked by a tunnel with one cave dubbed the Cathedral Cave.

Tamborine Cooking School

Tamborine Cooking School is located in the beautiful Gold Coast Hinterland in South East Queensland. One hour from Brisbane and 30 minutes from the Gold Coast, it offers cooking lessons using the best and freshest produce in the region. A multi course themed lunch menu is prepared (French, Italian, Moroccan, Asian, Spanish, Greek), guests can be hands on as they want to be or sit and watch the demonstration. Terri is a qualified chef and you can find out all the tricks of the trade, and answers to your culinary questions. The classes usually start at 10am with two hours of preparation, then lunch is served to you at a beautifully laid table overlooking the Scenic Rim. After lunch there is time to stroll around the lush landscaped gardens with views. It is a memorable day out with the best of what Tamborine Mountain has to offer. You will take home the printed menu and recipes and a new enthusiasm for cooking.
