The Pittsworth Pioneer Historical Village brings to life a bygone time, The Village consists of the former Pittsworth Post Office, the telephone exchange, the post masters residence, the former one teacher school, a fully furnished cottage (circa 1900) and a blacksmith shop. Explore working life in the early days with displays of farm machinery and cheese making equipment (Pittsworth was once home to nine cheese makers!) There are numerous displays including clothing, lace work, early settlers hand tools, and a 1928 Austin Tourer car in original condition. Displays of memorabilia record the feats of Arthur Postle, one time Australian and world's fastest athlete. He was born in the Pittsworth district.

Bunnyconnellen Olive Grove and Vineyard

Bunnyconnellen ('convivial pleasures') is a niche 'paddock to plate' gourmet food business producing award winning premium quality extra virgin olive oil (EVOO), table olives, olive related products, fine wine and other gourmet foods. All products are showcased at the rustic Cellar Door and are available for tastings and sampling each Sunday between 10am and 4pm. Enjoy innovative but simple food amongst the vines and olive trees and walk amongst the abundance of flora and fauna that makes up the gardens, followed by a game of croquet, boules, picnic, or a stroll down to the dam. The gardens and Cellar Door lend themselves to an elegant country wedding venue with a little glitz but much passion. Also available is 'The Studio' an old farm building renovated to include the necessities of life whilst retaining simple charm and character. Ideal for couples, it consists of a small kitchen, en-suite, living space, pot belly stove, music system and two porches, one of which has a barbecue.

Holland Wines

The vineyard and cellar door are located in a rural setting one and a half kilometers from the centre of Crows Nest on the Blackbutt Road. Look for the sign above the front gate. Holland Wines operates not only a small vineyard on the property, but provides a number of pleasures for your enjoyment. The Cellar-Door for example is located in the midst of an extensive garden featuring a variety of flowering natives and wildlife including peacocks and a variety of colourful native birds. The Cellar-Door contains a well stocked gift shop, the largest display of Arnott Biscuit Tins on public viewing in Australia. Wine tasting is free and the large variety of wine flavours on sale means there is at least one flavour to suit your liking. Prices are very competitive and some free delivery can be arranged. For your pleasure you can also arrange for morning and afternoon tea, or perhaps a finger-food lunch by booking in advance. Under the wisteria covered pergola or umbrellas on the lawns are favourite places to partake of these treats. Parking spaces for all vehicles is available, and buses are welcome.

Spring Bluff Railway Station

Spring Bluff Railway Station is a heritage listed site located on the main railway line between Ipswich and Toowoomba. Its significance stems from 150 years of railway history and the attraction of its landscaped gardens. In 1914 Queensland Railways launched a garden competition to encourage railway staff to beautify the stations and grow vegetables. The gardens are now beautifully maintained and have won awards in the Carnival of Flowers competition over many years. The grounds are open for visitors all year round to enjoy a picnic or barbecue or perhaps a visit to the Spring Bluff Cafe for coffee and treats. Spring Bluff Railway Station has been the venue for many weddings over the years and the quaint country-feel to the Station lends itself to being one of the most romantic outdoor wedding venues in the Region. Harrow Gardens

Harrow Homestead is a private home and a grand residence, with the warmth and charm of yesteryear. Robert Ramsay, the English owner, had the impressive home constructed in the 1870s mainly of hoop pine and red cedar with large rooms and an arched hallway of polished pine and cedar panelling. The home covers one hundred squares with wide verandas on three sides. Harrow is still very much a working property. Harrow Gardens are over 10 acres of rambling picturesque countryside featuring a 50 metre rose arbour, a lake with water lilies, extensive garden beds and a fish pond. The stunning garden and gorgeous homestead are available for viewing during September and October however coaches are available via appointment at any time.
