The Westcott to Cherry Plain track follows the cliff-line on the western side of the Bunya Mountains. Start your walk at the Westcott picnic area to weave in and out of rainforest, discovering views over remnants of bottletree scrubs, the township of Bell and onto the plains beyond. The track meets the road at Cherry Plain.
Have someone meet you with a car when you reach the road, or return back along the same track. For a shorter return journey walk back along the road (1.8 kilometres) with care.
The Westcott to Cherry Plain Track is managed by the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service. Visit the web site for the latest park information including opening hours and safety messages.
