Our Hire

Seawind 1000's are tremendous charter boats. They feature four double private cabins and a fibreglass covered bridgedeck with plenty of room for the crew as well as the thrill of performance sailing. The 1000 has an electric anchor winch as well. AM/FM Radio, CD Player, Cabin Fans, Bimini,Deck Esky, Deck Shower, 1 toilet. Recommended 8 Passengers. Launched May 2004.

Sunset Lady is an exceptionally spacious comfortable and functional boat with 4 double private cabins and an additional single berth in each front cabin. Plenty of room for all the family or a large group of friends! An older vessel in great condition with extra facilities AM/FM Radio, CD Player, television/ DVD, Cabin Fans, Bimini, Deck Esky, Deck Shower, 2 toilets. Recommended 8 passengers. Launched May 1998.

The Perry 43 Plus' 4 cabins, Stardust has 4 double cabins and can sleep a maximum of 10 people.
The Perry 43 Plus' is an immaculately finished and spacious vessels suitable for large groups or families. It has 240 volt power along with air conditioning and a microwave. CD Player and Ipod Dock, television and DVD, Cabin Fans,Bimini, Deck Shower, Deck Esky. Recommended 8 Passengers, Launched June 2002.

Blueberry Hill launched in July 2000. Is a spacious flybridge catamaran featuring a state of the art fishfinder for the serious fisherman. A spiral staircase leads to the flybridge, which has space for all to take in the sights. The genset provides power aplenty for the air conditioning and those extra toys that may need charging. The layout is designed to impress with Italian light fittings,a separate bathroom for the guests. Recommended for six people.

They have two terrific Perry Power Catamarans for charter. They are identical vessels and feature 4 double cabins - 3 with ensuites. They also have DVD players with flat screen televisions, air conditioning, microwave and CD player! The flybridge area is magnificent - plenty of room for everyone and an esky to keep the drinks cool! The boats are easy to handle and as soon as you see them you want to charter them!!

The Highland 35 with its modern lines and innovative design is an outstanding addition to our power catamarans. Featuring three spacious cabins and one bathroom Cumberland Fling is great for couples or a family. Fully equipped galley, deck shower, esky, cabin fans, invertor, 1 toilet & shower, boasting a huge sunlounge on the fly bridge and 2 driving positions. The Highland 35 is perfect for couples cruising or small families. Recommended 6 passengers.

Treasure commenced chartering 1 July 2009. Dehler Yachts are beautifully appointed and are a pleasure to Sail. If you're a couple or young family looking for something special then you'll enjoy Treasure!! Boasting Two double cabins and space for more in the saloon. The front cabins are spacious and light including cabin fans. For entertainment there is a tv/dvd and Ipod connection. On deck is a boom awning providing shade on deck.

Featuring 3 double berths in private cabins - Serendipity has one bathroom as well as an ensuite. The cockpit is covered by an awning. These facilities along with the full standing headroom, spacious bridgedeck galley and well ventilated interior make the Ocean 35 a very popular choice for two couples or a family.

Finnigan commenced chartering in June 2006, developed specifically for the charter market.
The luxurious appointments are great for couples or families with three private cabins and a separate bathroom. The bright and airy saloon also incorporates a raised wrap around lounge and dinette. A "galley up" layout that opens onto the large "covered cockpit" which features freezer, rubbish stowage, folding seating and BBQ facilities. The spacious flybridge, offers twin helm seats and seating for six.

The Beneteau 37 is a demonstration of the refinement available from one of the world's largest and most successful yacht manufacturers. This vessel "Little One" commenced chartering on 1 November 2009, comprising of 3 double berths, 1 Toilet and Shower and is ideal for couples, family or groups to enjoy the Whitsundays. The 37 has an electric anchor winch, AM/FM Radio, CD Player, cabin Fans, Bimini, Deck Esky, Deck Shower. Recommended 6 passengers.

In May 2010 they welcomed a brand new 3 double cabin, 2 bathroom Beneteau 43 "Olivetta". This vessel sees a return to the classic design and finish that Beneteau is renowned for, recommended for 6 passengers but can sleep 8 in comfort. This great Mono has plenty of stunning features from dual wheel and lounging space for all the family in the cockpit, too the spacious cabins and saloon.

Cumberland received the first Lightwave 38ft Power Catamaran with a flybridge!! This vessel commenced chartering in June 2010 and features 2 queen size cabins, 1 double cabin, a small single berth suitable for a child plus the saloon can be utilized as another single berth. With 2 bathrooms she is perfect for a few couples or an extended family. Very popular in summer as she's fully air-conditioned and perfect for cruising the tropical Whitsundays.

They welcomed the arrival of the Seawind 1000xl to their fleet in June 2011. Featuring 4 double cabins with a spacious private bathroom she's a popular choice for young families. Trinity Reign commenced chartering with Cumberland in June 2011. The Beneteau Oceanis 34 is a very comfortable vessel for a couple or young family. Comprising of 2 good sized double berths and 1 toilet shower, plus the option of converting the Saloon into 2 single berths. This 34 is perfect for an intimate family wanting quality time together.

Le Bon Reve commenced chartering in July 2010. She is an exciting new design from Fontaine Pajot. With double beds at each corner of the vessel, there is plenty of privacy. Mid ships in each hull there are shared shower and toilets - just perfect for 4 couples. The Lipari 41 also has the cockpit and saloon on the same level to help make short and long passages a cruising pleasure.

Conway National Park

Conway National Park is a peaceful coastal park with rainforest-clad hills, secluded beaches and panoramic outlooks over the scenic Whitsunday area. This park includes the rainforest-clad Conway Peninsula and protects the largest area of lowland tropical rainforest in Queensland outside Tropical North Queensland. Hoop pines grow on coastal ridges and in damp gullies, emerging above the rainforest canopy. Rugged, steep, rocky cliffs provide a spectacular 35 kilometre-long backdrop to the Whitsunday Passage and islands. Walk or boat into secluded Swamp Bay bush camping area beside a secluded pebbly beach overlooking Daydream Island. Enjoy a wide range of bushwalking opportunities that start from the Conway National Park day-use area and Mount Rooper and Coral Beach car parks. The Conway Circuit for walkers and mountain bike riders also winds through the park. From Mount Rooper lookout, take in superb views over the islands: Hamilton, Dent, Long and Henning. The view from the ridge above secluded Coral Beach is worth the effort of reaching there. Enjoy birdwatching along the tracks then relax over a picnic in the day-use area on Shute Harbour Road.

Hangover Dive Site, The

The Hangover, located off Airlie Beach on the Great Barrier Reef, is a wall dive with exciting terrain to be negotiated by the diver. Larger marine life such as Giant Trevally, Barramundi, Cod and Mackeral to be found in this pelagic area. No previous history of this site, so surface and tell them what you saw!

Airlie Creek Track, The

The 850 metre Airlie Creek Track slowly winds up the hill behind Airlie Beach along a gravel path, featuring rare flora and fauna such as the Whitsunday Bottle Tree and the endangered Proserpine Rock Wallaby which are only found in this region. The track winds you through tranquil forest which is home to magnificent fig trees, sub tropical plants, beautiful native birds and ends up at scenic natural rock pools. The walk back offers views of the beautiful blue Coral Sea and Whitsunday Islands with leafy frames. Walking time: allow one hour. Access: from Waterson Way, Airlie Beach.

Drop Zone Dive Site

Drop Zone, off Airlie Beach located on the Great Barrier Reef is a drift dive with attitude! Drop into this dive and let the current do its thing. Featuring soft corals, whip corals, staghorn forests and resident turtles. As with all strong currents, keep your eyes peeled for pelagic activity.

Boathaven Beach

It's not every day that a town gets a new beach, but Airlie Beach is proud to announce the opening of the brand new Boathaven Beach! Part of the new Port of Airlie development, Boathaven Beach is situated on the new peninsula known as The Beacons, and boasts 60,000 cubic metres of soft, white sand, a northerly aspect and is the area's first true all-tide beach. Visitors and locals alike are loving Boathaven Beach already. Enjoy a day of swimming, sunbathing and lap up the views out the Coral Sea and islands beyond, before popping over to the adjacent marina and shops for a bite to eat or an ice cream along the main street.

Molle Islands National Park

Molle Islands National Park covers a picturesque cluster of islands in the heart of the Whitsundays with white sandy beaches and pockets of rainforest, encircled by the aqua waters of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. The islands provide a wildlife refuge and are popular with nature lovers. South Molle is the largest, offering walking tracks with stunning views. Snorkel at Sandy Bay. Sail around the islands. Bush camp on some islands. Camping bookings are essential. It is recommended to book in advance for school holidays. Take water and a fuel stove. At low tide walk between South and Mid Molle islands. In late spring, witness an underwater snowstorm - the annual spawning of coral. Check restrictions on activities such as spearfishing, anchoring, fishing and collecting.

Cannonvale Beach

Situated just three kilometres to the west of Airlie Beach, on a north facing stretch of sand, is Cannonvale Beach. With a stinger net for safe swimming in the summer months, a children's playground, and a delightful cafe on the foreshore, Cannonvale Beach is a favourite spot for families to play. The Botanic Gardens are taking shape along the foreshore and are set to grow and develop over the coming years. The wreck of the Whitsunday Magic is a photographers favourite, making for some spectacular sunset photos.

Daydream Island

Daydream Island is the closest of the 74 islands in the Whitsundays to the mainland shore at Airlie Beach. Daydream is extremely popular due to its natural beauty and variety of water activities available. With modern, contemporary rooms, several dining options, a wedding chapel, an award-winning day spa, kids club and loads of facilities to keep the whole family amused. Snorkel directly off the beach to the fringing reef at Lovers' Cove or go sea kayaking, water skiing and windsurfing with the watersports team at the resort. There are also several walking tracks on the island for you to explore. The central and highest point of the island is a small but dense jungle of tropical vegetation inhabited by parrots and tiny sunbirds. Daydream Island Resort occupies the majority of the island and offers many activities and impressive facilities including an excellent mini-golf course where you can "play your way around Australia" in 19 holes, and the Living Reef Lagoon, where you can experience the Great Barrier Reef without even getting your feet wet, if you don't want to. Handle a baby shark, pat a stingray and feed the barramundi in the large outdoor aquarium, guided by Marine Biologists.

Long Island

With 13 kilometres of extensive walking tracks, stunning lookouts, protected bays and beautiful secluded beaches, Long Island is well worth a visit. Much of the island is national park and you can enjoy bush walks, exploring the fringing coral reef, snorkelling off the beaches or relaxing under the coconut palms. There are private bungalows and a few resorts and they recommend you check availability and access details before arriving at the island. Long Island is nine kilometres in length and the nearest island to the mainland. The Whitsunday islands, officially named the Cumberland group, are part of Australia's largest offshore island chain and the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage area. These continental islands were formed when changing sea levels drowned the mainland mountain range in the last Ice Age. Due to the shallow depth and warm temperature of the waters, beautiful fringing reefs have grown up around the islands with outstanding coral cover and variety. The islands support an abundant marine and bird life, and from May to September the region is an important calving ground for migrating humpback whales.

Shute Harbour

Shute Harbour, near Airlie Beach, is the major port facility for the transfer of visitors to the Whitsunday Islands and resort destinations. A small residential community, it commands outstanding views from most locations. A selection of holiday homes and one small hotel situated right on the crest of a hill take in some of the best. The port is one of the busiest small vessel facilities in Australia, and is also a major base for bareboat and charter yacht activity. Daily scheduled ferries and water taxi services are offered by commercial operators. A public boat ramp is available, with limited trailer parking, for launching of small private vessels. The public fishing jetty is an excellent spot to dangle a line and try your luck at catching some of the famed tropical Whitsunday fish and squid species. To get to Shute Harbour, drive east for ten pleasantly winding kilometres through Conway National Park from Airlie Beach. The park itself has a camping and picnic area. There is plenty of paid parking for those heading out to the islands, including an undercover parking station suitable for parking boats, trailers, caravans and more, while you enjoy the islands.
