Gold Coast Airport Marathon

Run for the good times at Australia’s leading marathon, the 2016 Gold Coast Airport Marathon to be held in one of the most popular holiday destinations in the world in Queensland, Australia.

Join more than 28,000 participants of all ages and abilities from Queensland, interstate and overseas in eight races including the Gold Coast Airport Marathon, Wheelchair Marathon, ASICS Half Marathon, Wheelchair 15 km, Southern Cross University 10 km Run, Suncorp Bank 5.7 km Challenge and Zespri Junior Dash (4 km and 2 km).

Enjoy the wonderful Gold Coast conditions on the internationally recognised fast, flat and scenic course and take in the beautiful broadwater and sparkling surf beaches. The weather is traditionally great for running with low humidity, little or no wind in the morning and mild temperatures - ideal if you’re striving for a personal best time.

Visitors and locals can enjoy the free ASICS Sport and Leisure Expo at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre and will even have the chance to meet marathon legends including Rob de Castella, Steve Moneghetti, Pat Carroll and Benita Willis.
