Easterfest

Easterfest is a three-day national music festival at Easter held in the beautiful Southern Queensland Country regional city, Toowoomba. It is one of Australia's largest drug and alcohol free ticketed precinct in Australia.

Thousands of people travel to Toowoomba from all over Australia to be part of the incredibly atmosphere at Easterfest. Over 150 artists will perform throughout venues in Queen's Park and in cafe's, restaurants, pubs, outdoor stages and shopping centres in the Central Business District.

Headline acts confirmed for Easterfest include Grammy award winning artist from San Diego - Switchfoot. Along with ex lead singer of Newsboys, Peter Furler, RED, Emery, Norma Jean, Group 1 Group, Jon Foreman and Paul Colman

Easterfest's entertainment has a diverse music appeal including rock, jazz, heavy metal, folk. It also includes rides and a dedicated area for children. Festival attendees can camp on Queen's Park or stay at one of Toowoomba's hotels/motels.

There are numerous displays including wearing apparel, lace work, early settlers hand tools, and a 1928 Austin Tourer car in original condition. Displays of memorabilia boast the feats of Arthur Postle, one time Australian and world's fastest athlete. He was born in the Pittsworth District.
