The Tropical Journeys Great Barrier Reef Marathon Festival is the largest marathon and running event in Tropical North Queensland, attracting over 5,000 participants and spectators from all around Australia and 13 different countries. Held annually in Port Douglas, the Festival is the only running event located on the fringe of two world heritage listed sites, the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest. From Four Mile Beach to the trails of the rainforest and back through the streets of Port Douglas, this is a race to mark on your calendar.
