Midge Point

Midge Point is the northernmost part of the Mackay district, approximately 100 kilometres, or just over an hour's drive from Mackay. This peaceful coastal village is located on the picturesque Hibiscus Coast.

Midge Point is an ideal place to bushwalk, go fishing and crabbing and relax in a tranquil area by the beach. It is home to various accommodations and caravan parks as well as a selection of eateries.

Stay in semi tropical rainforest, enjoy direct beach access for hours of fishing, walks and fossicking.

Laguna Quays Resort is in the Midge Point Area, currently under renovation. It is home to a marvellous golf course and provides access to a small marina.
