The Tropical Fruit Safari is a one-hour presentation run by Mission Beach Visitor Information Centre volunteers showcasing up to 20 different rare and exotic ultra tropical fruits and vegetables in season, concentrating on taste and texture.
Profiling up to 20 different rare and exotic, ultra-tropical fruits and vegetables in season, concentrating on taste and texture, borrowing wine tasting nomenclature; treating the destinations rare exotic fruit product as unique cuisine using specific language to enhance the experience.
Let your taste buds experience hypnotic North Queensland with rare and exotic tropical fruit in season grown by local farmers.
It is held on Monday and Tuesday at 1pm to 2pm (arrive to register at 12.45pm) at the Mission Beach Visitor Information Centre, Porter Promenade, Mission Beach. Session begins at 1pm sharp and no late arrivals taken.
The last Tropical Fruit Safari for the season will be Tuesday 30th September, 2014. Recommencing Easter Monday April 21st, 2015.
