Palm Cove, Cairns Area
The award winning Cairns Tropical Zoo is located on the Captain Cook Highway at Palm Cove, just 20 minutes north of Cairns. The zoo is six hectares of tropically landscaped gardens featuring a natural habitat displaying Australia's unique animals and some international exotic animals. During the day visitors have the opportunity to 'Cuddle a Koala', a large python, or a small crocodile (extra cost applies and includes a top quality souvenir digital photograph).
