There are many things to do and see including the following: Explore Brisbane's foreshore by driving the Moreton Bay Tourist Drive. Follow the brown and white dugong signs. Discover the Ramsar protected Boondall Wetlands Bicentennial Road at Boondall. Visit Moreton Island and swim, snorkel, sand toboggan, camp, surf, fish or feed the dolphins. Pick your esplanade along any of the foreshore villages to walk or cycle. Sail or cruise Moreton Bay and board one of the boats leaving daily from Manly Harbour.

Cooly Rocks On is an annual celebration of everything 50s and 60s, bringing the colourful and vibrant beachside towns of Coolangatta and Tweed Heads together for the ultimate party. More than 50 rock'n'roll and rockabilly bands will perform right beside the beach in parks, on outdoor stages, in the streets, and in pubs, clubs and venues throughout Coolangatta and Tweed.
