The Ipswich Art Gallery is located just 40 kilometres west of Brisbane in a restored colonial building in the heart of Ipswich Central Business District. Housed in the old town hall built in the 1860s, the Gallery presents a program of changing exhibitions and heritage displays with complementary special events, limited-season performances, family activities and art workshops. The Ipswich Art Gallery (formerly Global Arts Link) is one of the largest and most visited regional art galleries in Australia.

With several exhibition spaces, the Ipswich Art gallery offers something for everyone from selected national touring exhibitions, works by local artists, highlights from the City of Ipswich Collection, displays of Ipswich's social history and the ever-popular Children's Gallery - Australia first dedicated art gallery for children.
