Gab Titui Cultural Centre

The Gab Titui Cultural Centre is located on Thursday Island in the Torres Strait Islands just off the Cape York Peninsula, the most northern point of Australia. Thursday Island is the most developed of the 74 Torres Strait Islands. The Centre has been created through a partnership between the Torres Strait Regional Authority (TSRA) and the Queensland Heritage Trails Network (QHTN).

The Centre boasts several unique displays that explain the history and culture of the Torres Strait Islanders. This includes an artefacts gallery, workshop areas for local artists and a meeting venue for local educational groups and community events.

Adult $25.00 24 April 2015 – 24 April 2016 Annual membership for an adult. Includes unlimited entries, 10 per cent discount at the gift shop and five per cent discount at the cafe (alcohol excluded).
Family $45.00 24 April 2015 – 24 April 2016 Annual membership for a family. Includes unlimited entries, 10 per cent discount at the gift shop and five per cent discount at the cafe (alcohol excluded).
Family $80.00 29 April 2015 – 29 April 2016 'Friends' of Gab Titui. Includes all annual membership benefits, in addition to invitations to openings, special events and quarterly newsletters.
