Aloomba Lavender Farm Bed and Breakfast, coffee and gift shop on the Mount Lindesay Road (three to four kilometres north of Liston) is within a 4,000 acre cattle property set in picturesque rolling hills, close to Tenterfield, Stanthorpe, 50 plus wineries, five national parks (Girraween, Bald Rock, Boonoo Boonoo, Queen Mary Falls, Sundown), Undercliffe Falls, orchards. The 20,000 established lavender plants form a pretty pattern whether in flower or not (great opportunity for photographs). Aloomba Lavender, Bed and Breakfast, coffee and gift shop has award winning Essential Lavender Oil and lavender products for purchase.

The well stocked gift shop and the tranquil bed and breakfast rooms are very popular. Bus groups and casual visitors are received in a friendly, family atmosphere for Devonshire teas and good coffee. Harvesting begins in mid November. An informative talk is available for larger groups by arrangement.

Approximately three hours from Brisbane and the Gold Coast, they're close to Queensland's Granite Belt wine country and Stanthorpe. With several routes from which to choose, Aloomba Lavender Bed and Breakfast, coffee and gift shop is an excellent destination for your weekend tour or trip. RV friendly. Group $7.00 25 May 2013 – 30 June 2015 Good coffee (and a range of teas) and homemade biscuits are available for guests to purchase at any time but for the superb Devonshire tea it is advisable to book ahead to have the scones fresh from the oven. Group, family, coach or tour groups visiting the "Aloomba Lavender" Liston lavender farm can book a short talk on the production of essential lavender oil and lavender products, essential rosemary oil, planting lavender, distilling lavender oil, harvesting lavender flower stems and stripping lavender flowers from the stems for lavender bags and lavender oil production. There is no charge for entry to the lavender farm or for the talk. Charges apply for the coffee, tea, Devonshire tea, light refreshments and for the bed and breakfast accommodation or camping at Aloomba Lavender farm. The charge is AUD7.00 per person for Devonshine tea at Aloomba Lavender farm, Bed and Breakfast, coffee and gift shop.

Lucas Estate is one of the most awarded wineries in Queensland. The winery is part of the Strangebird trail as Tempranillo, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc are made. All wine is made on site with Estate or local grapes. A wide range of varieties is offered including sparkling wines. The cellar door has a cafe, gifts and books plus artwork displays. Enjoy tastings of local produce including Mt. Stirling olives and oils. These products are also used in the kitchen where they cater for both meat eaters and vegetarians and cook gluten and dairy free whenever possible. They have live music on some weekends with the larger, ticketed event, Granite Belt Blue, on New Years Day every year. The property is designated Land for Wildlife and you are likely to see Whiptail Wallabies or, if you are very lucky, koalas .

The Vineyard Cafe

Vineyard Cottages is one of the few retreats on the Granite Belt to boast its own licensed restaurant. The restaurant is a Stanthorpe institution and housed on site in the old Presbyterian church building dating from 1906 and still featuring the original coloured glass windows. Guests can enjoy fine dining in the restaurant or in their cottage.
