The Noosa Open Day is an opportunity to get back in the water and make sure your hard earned summer fitness doesn’t go to waste. It’s a relaxed, social event and only as competitive as you want it to be. It’s the perfect opportunity to step up in distance and try a five kilometre course, train like a pro and do as many distances as you like (day passes available for any event), try an ocean swim in a relaxed, social atmosphere (events are not timed), wwim with fins / flippers (which you often can’t at a timed event). But it’s winter you say? In June 2015 the water temp was still over 21 degrees…there is no winter in Noosa! There are four options to choose from - one, two, three or five kilometre courses.
