Motown is Back! The Supreme Dreams, three gorgeous girls with fabulous voices, retro costumes and groovy dance moves, bring back the hit songs of the 60’s. Think Martha and the Vandellas, Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner and The Supremes and then you’ll start humming the songs that made these legends: Baby Love, Nowhere to Run, Proud Mary, You Can’t Hurry Love will have any audience Dancin’ in the Streets! Tammi, Cindy and Kiki are The Supreme Dreams and, just like the best “girl groups” of the 60’s, The Supreme Dreams salute both the fresh, optimistic buoyancy of this 60’s movement as well as the high energy and throbbing rhythms, which are bound to have you out of your seat and dancing. Like many other all-girl groups, The Supreme Dreams can’t help but reflect the typical teenage concern of “girl–dealing-with-boy” as expressed through songs such as Where Did Our Love Go, My Guy, (Love is Like a) Heat Wave and Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow.

What are you waiting for? Hop on in and go for a ride. There's plenty of room in there. Join Arj and together you'll contemplate everything. He'll even mention fondue at some point, and that's a promise. So take a load off your mind and get into his already! Arj Barker is arguably Australia’s favourite American comedian. In recent years, he has spent more time in this country than his own and has come to understand Australian culture perhaps better than we understand it ourselves. His stand-up is both insightful and pointed, like a mind-reading thumb tack, if there was one of those. ‘A true alchemist who takes observations and transmutes them into comedy gold...’ Independent on Sunday, UK. ‘Slick, talented and completely in control’ Scotland Times, UK. ‘A must see for anyone who loves a laugh. ****’ Adelaide Now.

XDR (Australia) Cultural promotion Pty Ltd presents The Russian National Ballet Theatre production of Swan Lake, the full length classical performance. The Russian National Ballet Theatre was founded with support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. With the instantly recognizable music of Tchaikovsky, virtually a signature of classical ballet and the wonderfully dark story of good set against evil, Swan Lake is one of the most famous and loved of all works in the repertory. The glamour of the palace ballroom is evocative of the Russian Imperial world in which the ballet was created, while the haunting moonlit lakeside is perfect for the tragic conflict of the human and spirit worlds. The central role of Odett/Odile is one of the most testing for any ballerina especially in portraying both the vulnerability of Odette the white swan and the predatory duplicity of Odile the black swan.
