Ballandean Vineyard Ride

Ride the bike trail from Stanthorpe to Ballandean this Valentine's Day. A beautiful ride on quiet country roads finishing at a Ballandean vineyard with spectacular scenery. This is a guided, group ride at an easy relaxed pace. At the vineyard you will enjoy a generous morning tea including a delicious flourless chocolate cake and great espresso coffee. The Stanthorpe Apple and Grape Harvest Festival is one of Qld's longest running and most successful Festivals! Voted Queensland's 9th favourite Event/Festival during the Queensland Q150 Celebrations, the Festival is a "must do" on the Queensland events calendar. A celebration of the Granite Belt region's produce and booming wine industry. An average of 60,000 people attend the festival and this is arguably Australia's leading harvest festival having a successful track record spanning five decades. The festival will celebrate the Granite Belt Region and all it has to offer. In Stanthorpe, heart of the Granite Belt Wine Region, on the New England Highway just north of the NSW border. Opera in the Vineyard

Opera In the Vineyard is a charity event held on the first weekend in May each year in the spectacular vineyards of Ballandean Estate Wines. The event is one of South East Queensland's premier cultural events, and the jewel of the Granite Belt's social calendar. Opera in the Vineyard attracts up to 1800 people each year providing an intoxicating mix of music, wine, food and an unforgettable time. The event organisers Ballandean Estate Wines and the Rotary Club of Stanthorpe have donated almost a million dollars to charity since the events inception. Opera Queensland have joined the Opera in the Vineyard team and we are delighted to have them on board. The 2016 performance is being created by the very talented team at Opera and Queensland and is sure to be an enthralling and beautiful performance.
