Cloudlake Mountain Retreat is a 65 acre organic/biodynamic farm property, at 2,000 feet in a secret valley in the mountains near Ravensbourne National Park. It offers guests a blissful escape from their busy lives, so wake up to a water view in either of the two fully self-contained cottages, The Boathouse or Mother of Ducks Cottage, situated on their private lake.

Cloudlake provides secluded romantic accommodation for a weekend escape or a longer recharge. Only half an hour from Toowoomba and two hours from Brisbane, Cloudlake Mountain Retreat is centrally located for further exploration to nearby National Parks, lakes, vineyards, antique shops and cafes.

Easter Vintage Festival

Highfields Pioneer Village is celebrating its twentieth Annual Easter Vintage Festival. The theme of the festival is 'Keeping Time'. Come and experience rural life in the Australian Pioneer days! Toowoomba MS Swimathon

The Milne Bay Aquatic Centre in Toowoomba will host the third MS Swimathon event of the season to raise vital funds to help people living with multiple sclerosis (MS). It doesn't matter if you can do 100 fast laps or doggy paddle one, everyone can join in, have fun and support people living with MS - an incurable disease which affects a person's central nervous system. Designed as a relay event, teams must have one swimmer in the water at all times throughout the entire 12 hour event period. Participants can raise donations by asking for a one off donation from friends and family or being sponsored based on the number of laps they can do.

Toowoomba Touring Pro PBR

The PBR invites you to share the best. The Toowoomba PBR Touring Pro Series is filled with extreme sporting entertainment live at Clive Berghofer Stadium. Gates Open 5.30pm and PBR action starts at 7:00pm. The competition consists of 40 of PBR Australia's most accomplished bull riders all competing once with the top 10 riders qualifying back into the Championship Round where they will do battle with 10 of the state's most extreme bucking bulls. This is not a rodeo - this is the mother of all extreme sports wrapped up in a pyrotechnic, pulsating rock concert atmosphere, with camera angles and big screen replays that will give you the ultimate bull riding experience.

Weetwood Handicap

The Weetwood Handicap is synonymous with Toowoomba. For more than 100 years this race has attracted fans to Clifford Park to celebrate Toowoomba's greatest raceday. In 2016 the Toowoomba Turf Club will celebrate the 126th running of the Weetwood Handicap. The Weetwood will continue to be a stand-alone metropolitan Saturday race meeting status as part of the Queensland Winter Racing Carnival. Over AUD600,000 in prize money, four black-type races and the stars of the Queensland racing industry will deliver the largest race meeting on record. An expected 5,000 spectators from Toowoomba, south-east Queensland and interstate will line the straight to participate in the race day. In 2016 the Weetwood race day will experience a revolution, a transformation to one of the region's premier events.

Crows Nest Day is part of the Crows Nest Festival week of community activities. The program starts at 7am with a fun run, then all day entertainment, music, dance displays, children's activities and finally a rodeo. Food will be available. There will be a licensed bar, drinks, tea and coffee also available. You can enjoy many stalls selling handcrafts, gifts and more and there will be competitions including whip cracking, crow calling, hay stacking, tyre stacking, picnic races and a tug of war. Worm races for trained earthworms conclude with the world championship Grand Old Crow Cup.
