A night of fun and trivia for anyone who likes challenges and to dominate the other teams! The evening begins as you walk into the venue with a welcome drink served upon arrival, whilst you relax in the venue and take in the breathtaking views from the deck. Their host for the evening is Jason Montgomery, Director of Trivia Master Australia with over 25 years experience working in the entertainment industry. He is also best known from his television appearances which include The House of Hancock, Home and Away, Rake, A Place To Call Home and his starring role as ‘Decker’ in Underbelly: Badness. After welcome drinks are finished, you'll team up and launch into the trivia night! Their quiz includes three games with a variety of subjects to cater to all age groups, including pop culture, geography, history, television and movies, music, sport and current events and much more. Run The Great Whitsunday Trail

The tenth anniversary of Run The Great Whitsunday Trail takes you on a 28.7 kilometre adventure through the beautiful rainforest of the Conway National Park, starting at Brandy Creek and finishing at the Airlie Beach Lagoon. It is a demanding course with many steep uphill sections and uneven ground. The cut off time for this event is five hours and 30 minutes. Also included in 2016 the inaugural Ultra distance of 57.4 kilometres will be a test for the fittest trail runners, with a cut off time of eight hours and 30 minutes. Limited numbers for both events and it will fill fast!

The Whitsunday Writers Festival is a weekend event featuring talks from authors. There will be creative writing workshops, and Friday evening is a free opening party. Guests can mix and mingle with the authors on an intimate basis. Saturday is a full day of talks and joining in panel discussions followed by dinner. Sunday is a half day including lunch. Participants can come just for the day or the full weekend and have intimate conversations with authors and journalists whilst enjoying fabulous food and wonderful views over Abell Point Marina.
