Abbey Of The Roses is an 1891 adults only heritage-listed country house manor B&B with private romantic dinners available most nights if booked with accommodation by phone. She has been extensively renovated to adapt to today's lifestyle and comforts, but hasn't lost the history or charm that makes it such a 'must stay at' destination to add to your bucket list.

Enjoy a game of tennis or use the house bikes to go for a ride, sit and relax in the gardens watch one of the 600 DVDs available.

The Abbey also caters for Weddings from elopements for 2 to 120, private functions and seasonal events. Sunday High teas and tours. All events need to be pre-booked.

On the first Sunday of each season Glengallan Homestead plays host to a seasonal market. Find an array of stalls and entertainment in the shadow of the impressive Glengallan Homestead. Relax in the beautiful grounds, take a tour of the homestead or take in the atmosphere while having a coffee and morning tea at the on-site cafe. The craft market is an ideal place to take home a handmade souvenir or homemade treat! Glengallan Homestead is a great spot to stop when taking in one of the region's scenic tourists drives, situated on the New England Highway between Allora and Warwick with ample parking it is an easy addition to your weekend drive or getaway!

Make some memories with family or friends at an Abbey Country Lunch High Tea. Partake in a high tea lunch at this Country Manor House on the Southern Downs. Includes a welcome glass of sparkling, mini savoury and desserts for lunch with pots of black tea, bagged herbal tea. View antiques for sale whilst on a history tour of the downstairs. No bring your own but other beverages can be purchased. Wander the gardens before or after the High Tea. Doors open at 12.30pm, if you arrive early feel free to wander the gardens. Bookings are essential so please don't just turn up as they only cater for those who have prepaid. Accommodation is available at the Abbey for an extra treat. Limited dates for group High Teas. Private High Teas can also be arranged.

Felton Food Festival

The Festival is a showcase of everything that the Felton Valley is famous for - delectable produce, stunning landscapes, friendly people and real country living. While the food is king, there are plenty of other activities to take part in at the Festival. Families, friends, farmers and food lovers can mingle amongst the wide range of market stalls, take a crop tour, meet a local farmer, learn about the paddock to plate process, enjoy a cooking demonstration, roam with the free range farm animals, and relax in the country atmosphere. Special guests for 2016 include Costa Georgiadis, Matt Golinski, Jerry Coleby-Williams, Alison Alexander and for the first time, Glen Barratt.

Mothers Day High Tea

Treat Mum to a special High Tea Lunch at this 125 year old Victorian style country house manor. Doors open at 12pm with Mum being welcomed by a glass of sparkling then seated at tables of 8-10 before partaking in a buffet style High Tea of savoury and sweet delights on silver high tea stands. A guided history tour of downstairs will be conducted with antiques for sale and wander the grounds before or after lunch.

Abbey of the Roses - Christmas in July

Christmas In July dinners at the Abbey Country House Manor, have become a popular annual event in Warwick. They are held every Saturday night and include a three course set dinner, four hour beverage package, Christmas trivia, Santa on arrival and it nearly always snows at the famous Christmas in July Dinners. Accommodation is limited so book early. Warwick Jumpers in Jazz festival is the last two weekends and there is a 2 night minimum stay these nights.

Polocrosse has been played in Warwick since 1953 and is one of Australia's leading clubs boasting numerous past and current Australian players. The Morgan Park facility is of a world class standard and offers a great day out for Polocrosse fans. Polocrosse is a fast paced team sport played on horseback. It combines the speed of polo, the strategy and tactics of netball (in terms of the field being divided in to three sections), the toughness of rugby and AFL and the ball handling ability of lacrosse.

Historic Leyburn Sprints

The Historic Leyburn Sprints will once again return to the streets of Leyburn for the 21st running! Over 200 cars will race around the idyllic country town of Leyburn, vying for trophies over 20 classes, as well as outright placings. Get amongst the drivers and their cars, ranging from the 1920's through to modern classics. The Historic Leyburn Sprints commemorates the running of the Australian Grand Prix, held at Leyburn on a disused wartime airstrip in 1949. Come for the racing, stay for the sightseeing amongst this historic town and surroundings. Camping is available in the recreational reserve, a short walk from the track. Celebrity drivers, country markets, live music, Show n Shine, and the Vintage Caravan Comp all add to the entertainment provided by this unique event in a fantastic setting - this event just keeps getting better and better!
