Lucas Estate is one of the most awarded wineries in Queensland. The winery is part of the Strangebird trail as Tempranillo, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc are made. The Vineyard Cafe

The restaurant is a Stanthorpe institution and housed on site in the old Presbyterian church building dating from 1906 and still featuring the original coloured glass windows.
