Arborlee is situated high in the Border Ranges above the Condamine River Gorge. It is two and a half to three hours drive from Brisbane. The drive covers some very scenic country. The closest town is Killarney 25 minutes and Warwick 35 minutes. The small settlement of Mount Colliery is seven kilometres down the mountain.

The special features of Arborlee are birds, frogs, plants, fungi and other wildlife of the rainforest setting, the peaceful atmosphere, retreat context without other tourists, guided walks and scenic views. The setting is perfect for the bird watcher, amateur botanist, artist and photographer.

Arborlee is an affordable rainforest sanctuary. They share this sanctuary with Australia's rare Albert's Lyrebird and many other uncommon birds. See the bird, frog and plant photo gallery.

The guest unit opens through French doors onto a verandah and views to the rainforest. Guided walks can be arranged around the property.

The Lake Maroon recreation area is located next to the dam wall, off Maroon Dam Road, and the boat ramp is opposite, off Slater Park Road. The following activities are available: barbecuing and picnicking, boating (powered and non-powered), camping (in designated areas), canoeing and kayaking, fishing, jet skiing and waterskiing, and sailing. This walk explores the Scenic Rim region of South East Queensland; a stunning collection of mountains, ridges, escarpments, forests and ancient volcanic plateaus set in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range and surrounded by World Heritage listed national parks. This is a four day/three night trail for groups of up to 10 walkers. Departing from Cunningham's Gap, you'll be escorted by one of Spicers field guides, who's passion and experience will bring tracks to life. Here you can rediscover the pleasure of simple things - like the peace that comes with walking through a forest to the song of native birds; the pleasure that seeing a curious wallaby can bring; and the awe that a sky full of stars can inspire. Best of all you can discover them all while enjoying a walk that is more about 'rest and relaxation' than 'rough and ready'. Explore the environment by day and return to the luxury of the Spicers Canopy campsite each night. On your final day as you reach the summit, enjoy checking in to their award-winning sister property Spicers Peak Lodge and enjoy a night of absolute luxury including their famous seven course degustation dinner with drinks.

Bunjurgen Estate Vineyard produces award winning Rose styles made solely from grapes grown on the property, an outstanding Sparkling Verjuice and a still Shiraz Verjuice, medium dry Chambourcin reds, and an exciting port selection of a White, a Cherry and a Tawny - our famous Bunyip Port. Wine tastings are conducted in a very relaxed and informal manner outdoors under a jacaranda tree with an open fire on cold days: in summer either outdoors, in the shade or even in the Barrel Room at 15-18 degrees Celsius on the very hot days! Four picnic areas are provided and visitors are welcome to bring their own food and enjoy the facilities, views and peace. There is a walking track through the vineyard and the range of natural trees and dams on the 24 hectare property are home to a variety of birds: occasionally kangaroos graze on the property. The property has superb views of the Dividing Range, Mount French and other prominent landmarks. Weddings and functions are hosted at the Vineyard at selected times - local bands, Sunset ANZAC, The vineyard has established a strong reputation for hospitality, quality, and generosity of spirit and is a very pleasant spot to linger.
