Applegrove Farm provides fully self contained accommodation in either the historic Schoolhouse (circa 1914) which sleeps a couple, or the Farmhouse which sleeps up to six people. All linen and cooking utensils are provided along with television, DVD, complimentary tea and coffee, goose down doonas, combustion fireplace and undercover parking.

The farm has approximately 50 metres of frontage to the Severn River on the southern boundary and is in close proximity to many Granite Belt wineries and other attractions.

The Schoolhouse and Farmhouse are separated by a rocky granite outcrop and are approximately 60 metres apart. Applegrove is located 15 minutes from Stanthorpe, just off the New England Highway.

Granite Belt Bicycle Tours and Hire invite you to join them for a Christmas in July progressive lunch ride around the spectacular Granite Belt. Indulge in a progressive Christmas inspired lunch visiting award winning wineries. Appetisers will be served at their first stop, lunch at the second and dessert at their final destination of the day. Departing from the Visitor Information Centre, Leslie Parade, Stanthorpe at 10am and arriving back late afternoon. Choose to ride the whole distance (approximately 38 kilometres) or only the parts you want. Support vehicle is included for riders, bikes and all your purchases. Wine tasting, winery tour and some drinks included. Pick up and drop off from your Stanthorpe accommodation available.

Admire the rich autumn colours of the vines set among stunning granite boulders and impressive twisted gum trees. Discuss how to grow, prune and harvest grape vines so that they produce the highest quality wines possible. Press Tim and Michelle for the secrets to the success of their sustainable vineyard practices, involving the use of birdlife to replace pesticides and careful mulching instead of irrigation. Then return to their stylish cellar door (in a classic 1920s Queenslander with wrap around verandas on three sides) to enjoy a guided tasting of single vineyard, dry grown Twisted Gum Wines matched with artisan cheeses on the veranda as the sunsets. Pure bliss! There is a strict limit of 20 persons, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
