Kilcoy Information Centre

Kilcoy, Somerset Area
Conveniently located at 41 Hope street, next to Yowie Park, the Kilcoy Information Centre provides a warm welcome to those travelling to the Somerset region. The Kilcoy Information Centre was opened in December 2014 and provides visitor information along with an environmental interpretive centre and an 80 seat theatrette. Visitors are greeted by a friendly group of volunteers who, with their local knowledge, will help you to explore, stay and play in Somerset. During your visit take the time to explore the environmental interpretive centre and learn about the region using the interactive touch screen displays, watch the documentary in the theatrette, purchase boating and fishing permits and/or collect a variety of brochures and maps to help you prepare for your travels.

Meet our friendly staff and volunteers, easy off street parking, potable water, toilets, Devonshire teas, parklands, fenced children's playground, picnic tables and free barbecue.

When arriving in Quilpie ensure your first stop is at the Visitor Information Centre, Museum and Gallery located on the main street. This accredited visitor information centre offers a one stop shop for travel information including maps, brochures and itineraries. Staffed by skilled and knowledgeable locals, the Quilpie Museum, Gallery and Visitor Information Centre can provide advice on the things to see, things to do and where to eat. Discuss with the friendly staff your travel plans and be sure to ask about their guided town tours operating each Monday and Wednesday from April to September. The interactive museum displays the rugged history of the early pioneers, and the Shire Gallery hosts an exhibition each month including travelling displays and works by local artists. Each exhibition has an official opening which everyone is welcome to attend. Nibbles and light refreshments are available on the night. Currently the gallery is exhibiting works from the very talented Nicole Harper. This exhibition is entitled 'Dusty Retro-Speck' Time in the West.

Ipswich Visitor Information Centre

The Ipswich Visitor Information Centre is located at Queens Park on Queen Victoria Parade in Ipswich. This multi-award winning Visitor Information Centre offers a one stop shop for travel information including maps, brochures and travel planning. With a Team of passionate, knowledgeable locals to provide insights into the things to see and do in the Ipswich region, a visit to the Ipswich Visitor Information Centre is a must. Included in a long list of visitor services are a free booking service for accommodation and tours; a great selection of souvenirs and local arts and crafts; free parking for cars, caravans and coaches; cafe for light refreshments; and free wi-fi internet access. There's even a shower for the long-haul travellers.

Coolum Visitor Information Centre

Coolum Beach, Sunshine Coast Area

The Coolum Visitor Information Centre is located at Tickle Park on the David Low Way in Coolum Beach. This accredited visitor information centre offers a one stop shop for travel information including maps, brochures, and itineraries. Staffed by skilled and knowledgeable local volunteers, the Coolum Visitor Information Centre can provide advice on the things to see, things to do and where to eat. Open 9.00am until 3.00pm daily. Located in Tickle Park next to the Coolum Surf Club, the park also has a skate park, barbecue facilities, public toilets, public parking and a large grassed area to run play cricket or kick a ball. The park is also the location for the Coolum Twilight Markets (Christmas/ New Year) and outdoor flicks during the School Holidays.

Windorah Visitor Information Centre
